Pre-Curriculum Math Lab

 

 

                                         The Online Pre-Curriculum Math Lab is                                         for distance education students who need extra help with basic math skills.

Who can use it?
   
Students enrolled in Blackboard math courses MAT-060, MAT-070, and MAT-080 who need help in understanding basic math concepts.

What resources are available?
       • QUESTIONS: You can email math-related questions to instructors and request help in understanding basic math concepts.
       
       • HANDOUTS: Test-taking tips; Formula sheets; Word problems;
Step-by-step instructions for the TI-30X calculator.

How do I sign up?
   Blackboard students (MAT-060, MAT-070, and MAT-080 ) can register for the service by sending an email to
   ilcmathcenter@waketech.edu
   Please include the following information:
     Name; Student ID #; Blackboard Username;
     Course Code & Section No.; Instructor Name.

   Once you are registered, the Online Math Lab will appear as a link on your Blackboard log-in page.

Walk-in help
   Individual tutoring assistance and workshops are also available in the walk-in ILC Pre-Curriculum Math Lab and Math Center, located on the main Wake Tech campus, in the new ILC Building, Room 115.
